#18 洞窟の話

More than 2500 years ago, a Greek Philosopher Plato told us the Allegory of the Cave where people are chained to face the cave wall. People only saw the shadows of things which were reflected by a large bonfire's distorted light. A man finds out there was true world outside of the cave but no one believes his story. Through a near death experience (NDE) a cancer survivor Anita Moorjani tried to explain a story after death. What are the lessons of these stories?

臨死体験をした香港のアニタさんは、蘇生した後にその体験を回りに人に語りました。しかし、古代ギリシャのプラトンの「洞窟の比喩」の話にでてくる鎖を解かれた男のように、当初アニタさんの話を本気で信じる人はいませんでした。2500年前から、人は今生きるこの世界が幻想の世界なのではないかと考えた用です。ライフとは死とペアで考えるべきなのではないか、というお話。
